Teaching History/ESL in the One Room School

Drawing from the experience of other courses, knowledge of culture, language, religion and other elements of history as well as hours of practical education, this class will teach students how to use the general framework for history curriculum and make it usable with scope, sequence, multi-level assessments and lesson plans. You will also explore teaching languages in the one room school with tools and techniques that can be used in multiple types of schools and settings, and with diverse student bodies where the language may be a child’s second or third spoken language.

Tuesdays 5:00pm - 8:00 pm.
