Integrity in Education and Faith

Aletheia Christian College is a private, faith-based institution committed to restoring education as discipleship.
We operate under the oversight of our Board of Trustees, maintaining financial and academic independence to safeguard biblical integrity.

Idaho Registration

Aletheia Christian College is registered with the Idaho State Board of Education in accordance with Section 33-2403, Idaho Code.

Students enrolling from the State of Idaho must acknowledge the following:

“I understand that Aletheia Christian College is registered with the State Board of Education in accordance with Section 33-2403, Idaho Code. I also understand that the State Board of Education has not accredited or endorsed any course of study being offered by Aletheia Christian College, and that these courses may not be accepted for transfer into any Idaho public postsecondary institution.”

Virginia Religious Exemption

Aletheia Christian College’s Shepherd’s Gate Campus (Virginia) operates under religious exemption in accordance with the Code of Virginia §23.1-219.

This authorization allows Aletheia to offer bachelor’s and associate degrees in Christian ministry and education as a religious institution, exempt from state oversight of nonreligious academic quality.

Aletheia Christian College does not participate in federal financial aid programs (FAFSA) and maintains financial independence to preserve the integrity of its mission and biblical worldview.

Aletheia Statement

Aletheia has the privilege of training students to succeed in the mission field of life, and we voluntarily take up the responsibilities that come from this privilege. When our systems and resources allow us to maintain full independence of thought and finances from the secular education system, we will seek recognition from a faith-compatible accrediting agency for our degree programs. At present, Aletheia offers non-accredited diplomas and certificates in Christian ministry and education. Aletheia alumni have continued into graduate study at Columbia International University and Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary, and serve in ministry and educational settings around the world.

Aletheia is small, but we are steadfast in our service to students and to the Church worldwide. When accreditation becomes a logical step from our current work, we will pursue it prayerfully — always committed to financial independence and faithfulness to our calling.
