Academic Calendar & Year Overview
A Sacred Rhythm of Study, Service, and Rest
The 10-4-1 Rhythm
Aletheia’s academic year follows a distinctive 10-4-1 rhythm—ten weeks of guided study, four weeks of practicum or service, and one week of communal retreat. This cadence shapes every program and unites the college’s life of worship and work. Below you’ll find the broad seasonal pattern and key public dates for the upcoming academic year. Detailed calendars, registration periods, and assignment schedules are available to current students and faculty through the secure portal.
10 Weeks — Study
Concentrated online coursework guided by Aletheia faculty.
4 Weeks — Practicum
Field placement, ministry, or service learning where truth is applied.
1 Week — Retreat
A time of reflection and renewal shared by the entire Aletheia community.
More than a schedule, this pattern expresses the biblical balance of labor and rest—where knowledge becomes understanding and understanding matures into wisdom.
